South Africa Election Wednesday
I’m glad Boston had a good Patriots Day. Monday’s Boston Marathon had two great finishes. The Red Sox won handily. The Celtics and Bruins earned postseason triumphs. I’m sure Paul Revere would have been pleased.
I hope those of you who were keenly aware that yesterday was Apr. 20 enjoyed the day as you saw fit. Taxing and regulating marijuana would be a better long-term strategy than imprisonment.
I’m looking forward to South Africa’s election tomorrow. I know a few people who live there although they don’t pay a lot of attention to politics. One day, I’d like to visit. I’ve been told parts of the country are very beautiful. I hope South Africa can lead its continent toward a brighter future.
