Nietzsche Was Right
I know Nietzsche said anything that doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I absolutely agree with that. That’s why I always try to win a game as fast as possible. Whether that game is poker, politics or baseball.
Letting someone off the hook is like throwing a change up down the middle with a 0-2 count. There’s no reason for it. To be successful in life, you need to have a killer instinct. Figuratively and literally as necessary. Not making people take responsibility doesn’t help anyone. Believe me, it’s easier said than done.
Have you ever watched the kind of bad movie where the hero disconnects the bomb with one second left before Earth is destroyed. How silly! I always prefer keeping the element of surprise on my side.
