Endeavour Heads To Space Station

Published by xzchief at 2:27 am under Government Edit This

The space shuttle, Endeavour, launched safely from Cape Canaveral, Florida, Friday night. The crew is charged with doubling the capacity of the International Space Station from three astronauts to six. Scheduled during the 15-day mission are four spacewalks.

I love the thought of traveling into space. I enjoy traveling anyway and I’m sure heading toward the stars would be amazing. The advance training would likely be arduous though. I know the cost of shuttle missions is high but I think exploring beyond our planet is worth the money. I don’t think space is like an episode of Star Trek but I’d love to see for myself.
